Call to embrace Yuan for payments
07 Aug 2015 at 06:03hrs | Views
The Chinese Yuan is one of the currencies adopted by Zimbabwe, but Zimbabweans are yet to warm up to using the currency.
Within SADC, South Africa has been increasing the use of the Yuan since 2012 when it took a policy to adopt the use of the currency to hedge against fluctuations in the Rand.
Analysts are advocating for the increase use of the Chinese currency in trade between China and Zimbabwe.
They argued it makes sense since Zimbabwe has already adopted a Look East Policy.
