Zimra seizes 50 Zupco buses
07 Aug 2015 at 06:50hrs | Views
Zupco has 50 buses locked in a bonded warehouse in Harare after failing to pay Zimra $2.5million in import duties.
Each bus was charged $50,000 and Zupco since March this year has been only able to pay a monthly installment of $50,000.
At that rate the buses will be registered and start operating after four years.
Company CE, Clifford Muwoni said the company was struggling to raise import duty charged on the buses.
