Popular Chiredzi Pastor and founder of White Harvest International Ministries is facing a law suit being filed by Chiredzi businessman for a luxurious Mercedes Benz which he used for nearly a year.

Christopher Mukanyi later offered to return the vehicle after using it for months.

Summons served on September 10, 2014 states that Apostle Christopher Mukanyi approached Wilson Khumbula who was selling his vehicle, a metallic Mercedes Benz S350 for $12 000 and Mukanyi gave Khumbula a Mercedes Benz C200 with an agreed value of $4 000 as deposit which left him with a balance of $8 000.

The balance was payable on or before December 10, 2014 but on the date Mukanyi only paid $600 leaving a balance of $7400.

Masvingo Mirror reported that the summons served by Khumbula's lawyers, Muzenda and Chitsama Attorneys say despite several demands, the man of cloth refused or neglected to pay the balance of $7 400.

Mukanyi's lawyers Zimbodza and Associates acknowledged the arrangement in a letter dated July 6, 2015 and proposed an out settlement of court to avoid rigorous court processes. Mukanyi then went on to propose to settle the debt by returning the Mercedes Benz as the full and final settlement of the outstanding amount.

This is despite the fact the Man of cloth used the vehicle from September 2014 to date.

Khumbula's lawyers are now pursuing the matter at Chiredzi Civil Court and the case will be heard soon.
