Zimbabwean High Court Judge Justice Nicholas Mathonsi on Thursday 06 August 2015 ordered the Women's University in Africa (WUA) to allow Harare lawyer, Danai Hazel Mabuto access to the university's premises and resources.

Justice Mathonsi also interdicted WUA from interfering with Mabuto's education and directed the lawyer to write her examinations for the purpose Master of Science in Development Studies running from 04 August 2015.

Mabuto, through her lawyer Mr Sharon Hofisi of Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights, filed an urgent chamber application at the High Court on Wednesday 05 August 2015 seeking an order to be re-admitted by WUA and to be allowed to write examinations in partial fulfillment of the requirements of the Master's in Development Studies.

WUA had barred Mabuto from writing examinations on 08 August 2015 as it sought to unilaterally withdraw her candidature.
