Confusion surrounds Council Building Inspector's death

Confusion is reportedly reigning supreme in the case of the Kadoma City Council Building Inspector only identified as Manyonga who was found dead amid reports police wanted him for questions in relations to rape allegations.

Berina Community Radio posted on facebook that there was a lot of confusion following his death.

"Confusion as conflicting reports reign supreme in Building Inspector Manyonga's case," posted Berina Radio.

"While unconfirmed reports claimed he committed suicide, there are some claims of him being sighted in and around the City. Last week some 'close' relatives claimed he had committed suicide at Muzvezve."

The station said however, Manyonga is still being hunted by the police, a development which makes it clear that he is still alive.

"Manyonga is wanted for allegedly raping his 13 year old daughter. There is a school of thought that claims that he was framed by his erstwhile wife following some marital disagreements. We will keep you informed as the drama unfolds," said the station.

Berina Community Radio Station reported last week that Manyonga was being man-hunted by the police to help them with investigations in a suspected rape case involving his 13 year old daughter.

"It is also alleged that Manyonga bolted from Rimuka Police Station yesterday afternoon triggering a man-hunt. Surprisingly it is being said that he had 5 wives," reported the station.
