Stop insulting opposition leaders - Max Mkandla

Former Zipra cadre Max Mkandla has urged Zimbabweans to never allow anyone to threaten or to insult any leader from the opposition political parties or ruling party saying that is what has made the country to leg behind.

"There is something going wrong here, we must not allow anyone to threaten or to insult any leader from any opposition or ruling party, some of us were trained under Zapu as Zipra, we were told to damage the ground and cover the gape not to insult the leadership," he said.

"For example when Dumiso Dabengwa dumped Zanu PF for Simba Makoni's Mavambo Kusile project, he was called names by Didymas Mutasa Jonathan Moyo and Jabulani Sibanda, the president Robert Mugabe and many shallow minded people."

He said Former Voice President Joice Mujuru could only say, "What has happened with my brother Dumiso. She never called him names, but Dabengwa chose to remain quiet and calm. These thugs who are sending a coffin to Margaret Dongo are the same people who displaced thousands of people from opposition, that Zanu culture of violence is taking its ugly head again here.

This shows that if these people are govern a chance to form a government they will declare a one party state shame. I am not taking any side here but i remind all citizens of Zimbabwe to promote democracy and peace if Dongo has decided to form a party then what do you loose?"

Mkandla said Mujuru was treated the same she was called witch etc, but she choose to keep quiet.

"That is why some of us joined this movement and ideological belief, whoever feels that this movement is a Zanu PF b or Zanu continuation is then misinformed. I will not join Zanu in my life time," he said.
