Mugabe deliver shortest speech ever

President Robert Mugabe yesterday delivered one of his shortest speeches in his political career at the National Sport Day to commemorate the Defences Forces Day.
Mugabe is well known for his long winding speeches often punctuated by off the cuff remarks, attacking the West.
His address lasted not more than 25 minutes.
He looked calm and composed in his address.
In his speech, Mugabe said the Zimbabwe Defence Forces ( ZDF) has been involved in several community projects ranging from constriction of schools and clinics.
He said the ZDF will participate in an exercise in Amani, South Africa with other regional armed forces before year end.
He said the ZDF helped deal with the political disturbances in Lesotho.
Mugabe applauded the ZDF for standing resolute against the proponents of regime change agenda.
He claimed that there are there have been attempts to scuttle procurement of hardware equipment for ZDF.
