The First Lady Dr Grace Mugabe, who is also the Zanu-PF Secretary for Women Affairs, has urged people of Matabeleland North province to dump MDC-T politicians saying they have nothing to offer the electorate.
Dr Mugabe was addressing hundreds of people gathered for the launch of the Bulawayo Kraal Irrigation Scheme in Binga.
The irrigation scheme covers communities in three chiefs' areas including Chief Siyachilaba and Chief Binga.
"I know here we have MDC-T MPs, but I hope when we get to 2018, things would have changed," said Dr Mugabe.
She warned the people of Binga against continuing to support the MDC-T, saying it will not bring development to the area.
Dr Mugabe castigated some non-governmental organisations for pursuing regime change agenda in the province.
She said NGOs have turned Binga into their playground, adding that they must stop that behaviour.
"Don't be misled by NGOs. They want the Binga community to remain in abject poverty. 2018 is around the corner and you should be warned that the NGOs will come with food handouts so that you vote for MDC," said Amai Mugabe.
Dr Mugabe appealed to the people of Binga to be patriotic and safeguard the country's independence.
She reminded them of how the country's gallant sons and daughters, both living and departed, paid the supreme sacrifice to liberate Zimbabwe.
The First Lady spoke about the need for all people to unite in ensuring the success of the ZIM ASSET economic blueprint.
Dr Mugabe blasted child sexual abuse and child marriages, urging young girls to concentrate on their education first before thinking of marriage.
"Don't let older men touch you improperly. Report them to the police immediately," she said.
She also criticised mothers who encourage their children to engage in prostitution as a source of livelihood.
