Gomwe bail relaxed

Harare magistrate Tendai Mahwe yesterday relaxed bail conditions for suspended Zanu-PF Harare provincial chairperson Godwin Gomwe and his seven accomplices in the $46 000 extortion case saying the suspects were no longer obliged to report to police as per his earlier ruling.

Gomwe is jointly charged with Muchineripi Mupindu, Fidelis Ndaradza, Haruwandi Munyawiri, Humphrey Madenyika, Josephine Hadziindi, Norah Toronga and Moses Handiseni, but they have all denied the charges.
