The Botswana government has widened its investigation of legislator Samson Guma Moyo who is suspected to have corruptly received over $10million from Zimbabwe's Kariba South power extension project.
Moyo was hauled before the courts on bribery and corruption allegations following the discovery of a series of payments to him.
Media reports from Botswana indicate that Botswana Unified Revenue Service (Burs) has since launched its own investigations.
The tax authorities believe he has been evading tax following his cross border business transactions.
