Former Radio Two DJ Erick Knight has warned that Zimbabwe needs new leadership so as to revive its economy.
"To my fellow Zimbabweans in the North, East, West and South," he said. "It is not a secret that the country is undergoing a serious Economical ailment. It does not require a Rocket Scientist to proclaim that things are bad, in fact very bad. Yes I know there are people who are thriving even in the midst of this turmoil but they are just a handful."
He said he have always made a vow that he shall never be quiet when he see anything that is worth shouting for.
"My Zimbabwe needs a total metamorphosis in terms of governance. Anyone who disagrees is simply being in denial," said Knight. "You can not tell me that is the best we can be as a nation and as a country. I am not advocating for war, illegal removal of a government or killing of people but as a a matter of fact, Zimbabwe needs a fresh touch, fresh ideas and ideologies to resuscitate it. It is no longer about individuals, parties, but it is about sanity, humanity and humanism. We have a God up there but hear this my brothers and sisters."
He said God can not help someone who needs help, but help someone who wants help.
"We have to want it first. The question is do we really want it or we simply need it? If we want it then let us act like people who want help," he said. "Let us stop supporting nonsense just because it comes from people or individuals we like. It starts with being frank with each other. Enough is Enough! God bless Zimbabwe! God bless Africa!"
Knight is one of the ZBC employees who were sucked by the state broadcaster when Jonathan Moyo was the State minister of Information in the president's office.
