The MDC-T Bulawayo deputy Spokesperson Felix Mafa Sibanda has accused Zanu PF for sleeping on duty following the wave of workers dismissals which resulted from the Supreme Court ruling that granted companies to fire workers on three months notice.

Sibanda said the judges were not wrong by interpreting the law of which they were correct.

"The question raised is why did Zanu PF administration sleep on duty since 1987 when the principle Act, the Labour Relations Act of 1987 was gazetted and came into effect," he said.

"Mind again that most of the judiciary in the Supreme court of Zimbabwe are now either farmers or business executives or employers in various capacities. In such a scenario bias comes to play in order to serve one's interests."

He said the human race by nature or creation is evil.

"Zanu PF is good to change its colour and form to its advantage," he said.

"They have done this before, for example the Gukurahundi episode of 1987, Murambatsvina and vendors recently. Zanu PF creates a crisis and later come in as the saviour of its unfortunate victims. Who can doubt that? It was evidenced after Murambatsvina by providing below standard shelters for their induced victims. Do not forget as well the vendors predicament where their security literally destroyed valuable assets of poor vending community and the following day were allocating bays for the same."

He said he can go on and on proving how Zanu PF changes its colour and form whenever they are confronted with a dilemma.

Mafa Sibanda also said the manner how the executive short changed the judiciaryn was when the white farmers had won their litigation on land grabs but the executive rashed to parliament to reverse that through amendments that decreed the land disputes are not for court jurisdiction, hence to date land disputes are not resolvable national and international.
