The family of Mwenezi rancher, Daryl Collet, has roped in Vice-President Emmerson Mnangagwa, Zanu-PF ministers and traditional leaders in its fight to reclaim ownership of Mjingwe Ranch which was invaded by top police and army officials.

The family wants police Assistant Commissioner Elliot Muswita and Brigadier-General Josphat Kudumba evicted from the property.

Collet's son, Jonathan, said that although his father had relocated to Mozambique, he would continue fighting to reclaim the property "for the benefit of the surrounding community".

Collet jointly owns the farm with South African investor Alastair Forsyth and the local community through chiefs Mazetese and Maranda.
