A 17-Year-old Chitungwiza boy allegedly raped three children aged three to 10 years between December last year and January this year, a magistrate heard on Tuesday.
Two of the victims are his cousins aged three and nine, while the third victim (10) is the daughter of a tenant where his parents also stay.
The Form 2 boy allegedly raped the 10-year-old girl in the presence of his nine-year-old cousin who had visited them during the school holiday.
He also allegedly raped his cousin from Harare during her stay at the house the same month.
The boy was not asked to plead to four counts of rape when he appeared before Chitungwiza magistrate, Mrs Rekina Dzikiti.
Mrs Dzikiti remanded the boy to August 27 for trial and released him into the custody of his mother.
Prosecutor, Mrs Ntombikayise Nleya, alleged that sometime in December last year at around 6am at the same house, the boy raped the 10-year old girl in the presence of his cousin (9).
This was after he allegedly sneaked into the room the two girls were sharing when his cousin went out.
His victim was surprised to see him undressing before raping her after locking the door.
After the act, he allegedly unlocked the door and went outside.
It is also alleged that he raped the girl a second time during the same month while his cousin watched.
The court heard that he turned his attention to his cousin and raped her.
On January 27 this year, he allegedly went to his three-year-old cousin's house in the same suburb.
On arrival, he took the minor to his parents' house where he raped her.
After the act, he returned the minor to her mother.
The matter came to light after the minor's mother noted that her daughter looked distressed after being dropped by the boy.
