Cheating wife demand $400 maintenance

A Harare woman - Tendai Makoni who was caught cheating by his hubby on two occasions dragged him to claiming $400 for the upkeep of their two minor children.
Tendai Shereni told the court that he would not pay the said amount as long as the children were with their cheating mother.
"She had an extra-marital affair and I found out about it and forgave her.
"But it seems my forgiveness was taken for granted as she cheated a with the same man.
"She then ran away from our home and left me in the children's custody. After putting my children through school she came and took them without my consent."
Makoni said she had stayed with Shereni for more than 12 years.
'Your worship, we stayed together for more than 12 years and in those years, we don't own any furniture in the house nor have ever owned property.
'For the past 2 months, I am the one who has been in the custody of the children,' she said.
She said she only affords to raise $40 per month.
Magistrate Gamuchirai Siwirdi ordered Shereni to pay $60 maintenance and buy uniforms, groceries with effect from August 30.
