16 year old attempts to rape woman (32) in a bush

A 16 year old Mutasa boy allegedly attempted to rape a woman twice his age in a bush.
The court heard that on March 9, this year, around 1pm, the woman was fetching firewood with her son in a bush when they came across the cheeky teenager.
"The accused approached the complainant and her son left them alone.
"The teenager proceeded to where the complainant was tying her firewood and forcibly fondled her breasts.
"She tried to escape but the teenager tripped her to the ground and forcibly removed her undergarment.
"The juvenile blocked her mouth to stop her from screaming. After a struggle she managed to remove his hand and screamed for help. Upon screaming, the teenager ran away," said Prosecutor Calvin Mufute.
He was remanded in custody to August 27.
