The Anglican Mothers Union of Zimbabwe (AMUZ), which is part of the worldwide movement of the Anglican Church has condemned moral decadence among the youth in the country.
The condemnation follows reports that teenagers in the country are involved unethical sex parties which have caused a rise in HIV prevalence.
Over 5 000 members of AMUZ's five dioceses gathered in Bulawayo to deliberate on issues based on moral up-brining, and tackled subjects that include marriage support, children born in prisons, agriculture and the environment.
The deliberations are in line with this year's theme 'Transforming our mindset for Christ's Mission,' revealed AMUZ Chairperson, Mrs Soneni Lunga.
Over 20 000 members of the union are involved in income generating projects such as peanut butter making, bakeries, piggery and chicken rearing.
An organisation for young girls, St Agnes Guild for Skills Training, has also been formed.
