ZUJ urges journalists to take cancer reporting serious

The Zimbabwe Union of Journalists (ZUJ) Secretary General Foster Dongozi, has urged journalists to take up cancer reporting seriously.

He said this while addressing journalists and Radiation Protection Authority of Zimbabwe (RPAZ) staff in a signing ceremony today at Warren Hills Golf Club in Harare today.

Dongozi urged the journalists to research on the topic in order to communicate cancer issues effectively.

"For one to communicate effectively there is need to read widely and not wildly about the subject they are writing about," said Dongozi.

He said journalists should be responsible and informed in their reportage of cancer.
