Matiza seizes grinding mills, generators

Zanu-PF Mashonaland East chairman Joel Biggie Matiza has flexed his muscles to repossess nine grinding mills and several generators from ruling party leaders in Uzumba Maramba-PFungwe district for redistribution to youths in the area.

The grinding mills and generators were donated by government between 2010 and 2014 for youth empowerment projects, but several unnamed Zanu-PF officials allegedly diverted them for personal use.
 
A senior Zanu PF official yesterday told NewsDay that Matiza held two separate meetings in Uzumba Maramba Pfungwe where he redistributed the grinding mills to youths.
