Zanu PF United Kingdom Chapter has challenged its party leaders back home to re- engage the alleged hostile supper power nations like the United States, Britain, and the European union for the sake of reviving the country's economy despite the western nations having imposed targeted sanctions against the Southern African nation.
Zanu PF UK said with the unthinkable happening, the U.S. is opening an embassy in Cuba and raising the American Flag in Havana, and now the British opening an embassy in Teheran and hoisting the Union Jack in Teheran, there is a simple message; Geo-politics has moved from an 'Us versus Them'.
"All the rest warring parties are embracing rapprochement," said the chapter.
"It is high time Zimbabwe engaged with everyone including those nations whose attitude it finds insufferable. Cuba is engaging with the U.S. Even though the sanctions are still on. Isn't there a lesson for Zimbabwe there?"
