A Zimbabwean author David Moyo has authored a book titled 'The will of the Ancestors' which advocates for the restoration of the sovereignty of the state of Matabeleland and also make startling revelations about Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe on how he butchered the Matabeles during Gukurahundi.
In his post, George M Mkhwanazi said, "My brother David V Moyo has written a book: "The Will of the Ancestors" which advocates for the restoration of the sovereignty of the state of Matebeleland that was destroyed by the British in 1893."
He said Moyo in the book also makes startling revelations about Robert Mugabe's (The Butcher of Matebeles) family history and parentage.
"According to him Robert Mugabe was born at an old Roman Catholic Mission called St Peters 5km outside Bulawayo to parents of Malawian origins. Robert's father, Gabriel Mugabe was called 'Ngwenya' who came from Malawi with the Jesuits who operated a catholic station in the vicinity of Old Pumula," Mkhwananzi chronicled.
"The mission was disbanded in 1930 and the Jesuits moved to Kutama Mission in Mashonaland. Robert's mother, Bona, a Zwangendaba Nguni from Malawi also transferred to Kutama Mission with the young Robert and his siblings while their father remained in St Peters."
He said Gabriel married MaTshuma from Tsholotsho with whom he sired other kids.
"Some of Mugabe's relatives are said to be residing at the old catholic mission station up to this day and the president occasionally visits them there," Mkhwananzi said.
