27 Aug 2015 at 07:22hrs | Views
Two local businessmen have taken Prosecutor-General (PG) Johannes Tomana and a magistrate to the High Court challenging the dismissal of their application for discharge in a case in which the two are accused of fraudulently issuing share certificates to new H.E.R (Pvt) Ltd directors without paying capital gains tax.
BJ Petroleum director Brian Jembere and former Zimbabwe Mining Development Corporation (ZMDC) legal adviser and company secretary John Tichaona Muhonde cited Tomana and magistrate Shelly Zvenyika as respondents in a matter seeking a review of Zvenyika's ruling which they contend was marred with irregularities.
