The First Lady, Dr Grace Mugabe says she is not without fault and welcomes constructive criticism as long as it is genuine.

She was speaking at a rally at Murombedzi Growth Point in Mashonaland West today where thousands gathered to listen to her address.

She said as leader of the Women's League, she is aware of the needs of women particularly in these hard economic times, adding that she will work to uplift them through empowerment projects and educational advancement.

Dr Mugabe revisited her revelations during her tours last year and how former Vice President Joice Mujuru and her cabal sponsored by Ray Kaukonde fell out of grace and the ex-VP was bent on lining up her pockets.

The First Lady called on the people of Zvimba to continue supporting Zanu PF and not to be swayed by detractors who use the issue of the economy to make them leave the party.

She said the people of Mashonaland West should not forget the sacrifices made by the many sons and daughters of the soil to fight for independence and remain steadfast in supporting the party that broke the yoke of colonialism.

"We should take advantage of the problems and mutations taking place in the MDC-T to strengthen and work for the economic improvement of the country," said Dr Mugabe.

Mugabe said no matter how much money the West pours into the MDC-T, they will not achieve anything because they have a poverty of ideas.

"The President will continue protecting the country's resources for the growth of the national economy," she said.

Dr  Mugabe criticised the influx of second hand clothes saying it is not good for the development of the county.

Mugabe also condemned random vending.

"I will not support disorderly vending," she said.

The First Lady condemned corruption saying those in authority should know they are there to serve the people.

She concluded her address by urging Zimbabweans to remain steadfast in serving their country.

Dr Mugabe also spoke about the issue of Cecil the lion saying the people of Zimbabwe who allowed the American dentist to kill the lion are to blame.

She said the West should consider removing sanctions against Zimbabwe than make noise about Cecil.

She brought a consignment of goods for the communities in the area including 15 000 2-litre bottles of cooking oil, 50 tonnes of rice, 30 tonnes mealie meal, 2 000 kilogrammes sugar, soap flour, salt and washing soap.

The goodies were also distributed to chiefs.
