Mocambique arrives to open Harare show

The President of Mocambique Filipe Jacinto Nyusi has arrived in Zimbabwe where he is scheduled to officially the 105th edition of the Harare Agricultural Show.

President Nyusi was welcomed at the Harare International Airport by Vice President Phelekezela Mphoko, Foreign Affairs Minister Simbarashe Mumbengegwi, Home Affairs Minister Ignatius Chombo, the Minister of State for Harare Metropolitan Procince, Miriam Chikukwa, the Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Dr Misheck Sibanda, Zimbabwe's ambassador to Mozambique and some senior government officials.

President Nyusi is in the country for the first time after his inauguration as Mocambique's President in January this year.

He is accompanied by his Foreign Affairs minister Oldermiro Julio Baloi, Chief of Military House Commodore Joaquim Mangrasse and Mozambique's ambassador to Zimbabwe Pedro de Azevedo Davane.
