Teacher charged with rape

A teacher from Chitungwiza is in trouble after he was allegedly found sleeping with his wife's young sister.
The teacher who can not be named to protect the identity of the victim pleaded not guilty to the charge when he appeared before Chitungwiza magistrate Lazarus Murendo over allegations of forcing a 20 year old sister in law to have unprotected sex with him.
Prosecutor Karen Kunaka told the court that on May 24 at 3pm the sister in law was asleep in her room when she heard her door open. She never bothered to look at the door as she thought it was her sister's daughter.
He allegedly initially sat on the bed and later started removing his pair of trousers and underwear and ordered the sister in law to look at him stake naked. The woman jumped off the bed but the teacher go hold of her and removed her pants by force before raping her. The case was remanded to August 28.
