'Tsvangirai is not wrong,' says Zanu-PF member

Zanu-PF youth member Fidelis Fengu has said MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai is not wrong by sending a delegation of officials to meet the Sadc Chairman Seretse Ian Khama as long as they were not going to lie about Zimbabwe and its leaders.

Media reports states that Tsvangirai would send a delegation from his party to meet Khama concerning the political and economic challenges facing the country.

"There is nothing wrong with Tsvangirai sending a delegation to meet Ian Khama as long as they get there and tell the truth," said Fengu.

"The truth being MDC and Morgan Tsvangirai agitated for the implementation of ZDERA , the act that has brought stiff economic challenges and has stifled our international progression as a nation. The truth that Zimbabwe has faced drought and adverse effects of climate change.

"The truth that Zimbabwe needs Technology transfer from the developed world in order to reduce production costs but this has been hindered by ZDERA and Thokozani Khupe and her crew should tell the truth and not lie to Ian Khama."
