Trio defraud National Foods

Three man from Kambuzuma in Harare have been dragged to court for failing to deliver returns of the broken or damaged goods worthy $535 to the National Foods after they delivered the undamaged goods to Pick and Pay Supermarkets.
Mabasa Chikurura (35) Chido Mukundidza (19) and Jimmy Mbowodza (18) appeared before Mbare magistrate and pleaded guilty to the charge of theft.
They were further remanded for sentence.
It is alleged that on July 17 they were tasked to deliver 340kgs of Gloria Flour and 120kgs of rice to Pick and Pay to replace the broken cartons.
They delivered the goods and took the damaged ones which they sold to the people in the streets and shared the spoils.
Victor Munjeri an official at National Foods discovered the offence and reported to the police leading to their arrest.
