Progressive Democrats of Zimbabwe leader Barbra Nyagomo who is based in the United Kingdom has warned President Robert Mugabe and his Zanu PF that people do not eat or survive on rhetoric following his ten point State of the Nation Address he made on Tuesday.

She said the SONA was just all talkshow since 1980. "People don't eat rhetoric speeches we are tired of that," she said.

"There was a time when it was interesting to hear that but no more. The Govt must start to walk the talk by cutting air-miles,their expenditure, benefits etc. Government leaders don't mix with ordinary people so how can they talk about the state of the nation? Whats the point of discussing a 10 point strategy/policies which will never be implemented, monitored or evaluated? ( since 1980?) Each time there is a crisis we are silenced through Policies which do not help. Its all on paper."

She said policies/Strategies must be debated in parliament and by citizens..... then the passed policies must be implemented by the govt to serve all citizens.

"Judiciary system enforces the policies," she said.

"But ours are not clear as there is no separation of powers. Its all Zanunised, non aligned citizens are discriminated. All policies must be implemented and monitored at the point of impact. Is the policy benefiting people socially, economically and politically? What help does it render to write policies and making noise every 5yrs during elections times and when there is a crisis? New ideas, new faces plus collective efforts from all political parties needed to rescue Zimbabwe."

She challenged the people to fight to remove Kleptomaniacs and corruption first.

"The environment is not conducive for growth, peace and development. We must challenge Looters, kleptomaniacs, poor governance, gross human violations," she said.
