300 000 farmers benefit from Presidential inputs

Nearly 300 000 communal and small holder farmers are set to benefit from the Presidential Well Wishers Input Scheme countrywide in the 2015 to 2016 cropping season.
US$28 million has been set aside for the scheme.
Agriculture, Mechanisation and Irrigation Development Deputy Minister Responsible for Crops Davis Marapira says the inputs will be complimented by equipment distributed across all the provinces under the first phase of the Zimbabwe-Brazil More Food For Africa Programme.
Marapira was speaking after touring ARDA estates in Zhombe.
