Interfin not talking to Muponda

Interfin is not engaged in any negotiations for an out of court settlement with businessman Gilbert Muponda over disputed Century/CFX shares, MD Raymond Njanike said.

This comes after Muponda, a founder member of liquidated ENG Capital, demanded through his lawyer Benjamin Chikowero a $15.4 million settlement plus interest and legal costs. Muponda's ENG Capital owned 309 million Century Bank Ltd shares before the company as placed under
liquidation in 2004.
