Zanu-PF defends Kasukuwere

In the face of demands that he steps down, Zanu-PF has defended Saviour Kasukuwere with spokesperson Psychology Maziwisa saying President Robert Mugabe continues to have full confidence in Kasukuwere.

This comes after it has become apparent that his detractors in the party are desperately seeking to have him ousted from Zanu-PF, including mobilizing for a vote of no confidence against him.

There is a petition which circulated at the weekend suggesting that Kasukuwere should leave office as he was spearheading factionalism by creating confusion and artificial enemies among senior leadership.
