Campaigns for former Vice President Joice Mujuru to be elected President in 2018 elections have kicked off with the social media users declaring that she is their sole candidate their hopes are pinned on to run the country in 2018 and after.

Obert Ncube posted on Facebook that the ground is set. The fireworks are about to begin. Let the wind blow.

"Comrades and Friends when I aligned myself with Dr Joice Mujuru I believe I didn't make a mistake, a lot has been said about her and I watched and listened with disgust as all efforts were made to put her down," he posted.

"Now the time has come for the real Dr to lead us and this will happen whether some people want it or not because we have asked her to lead us, I am not afraid to stand by her and that I will continue to do no matter the obstacles that come my way. I am for Team JTRM 2018."

Mujuru was ousted from her Zanu PF and government position at the instigation of first lady Grace Mugabe who said she must resign or face dismissal.

Mujuru is reportedly leading the People First Project which is set to transform into a political party with structures reported to have been set in each of the ten provinces.

Information is rife that the group has since endorsed Mujuru to lead it and is tipped as the sole presidential candidate in the 2018 elections.
