Former Vice President Joyce Mujuru's manifesto is increasing attacking negative criticism amid reports that it intends to "subject the working class to a slave wage'.
Mujuru released the long awaited blue print on Monday and Zanu-PF top officials quickly savaged it.
Now, MDC officials have joined the firing squad.
Ngqabutho Nicholas Mabhena said the manifesto is anti-worker.
"Just tried to analyse the People First manifesto from a class perspective. Three things l briefly noted:
"The manifesto seeks to meet the needs of international funders and subject the working class to a slave wage. The moment wages are tied to production, employers would abuse workers and force them to work for long hours in an effort to meet production demands. This will affect maternity leave for women workers who might not get their benefits while on leave and might be forced to return to work in two months' time," said Mabhena who is based in South Africa.
He added, "The production of the manifesto as published yesterday kills what is called, "participatory democracy". If Dr Mujuru and her team come to power, citizens will be told what to do. As Communists, we are guided by Democratic Centralism as a principle of ensuring full participation of citizens in decision making.
"The manifesto is silent on the centralisation of power which has characterised the Mugabe administration for 35 years, even though it seeks separation of powers between the arms of State, the reality is that, if provinces are not empowered (Devolution ), no development will take place in provinces outside Harare".
