Woman assaulted while undressed by ex-hubby

A Harare woman- Chipo Mamvura has told a court that her hubby used to lash her while undressed.
Mamvura said her husband - Michael Munemo has a habit of coming back to her place to abuse her after he had left her to settle with their maid.
"He beats me and always insults me. Each time he comes to my home, he undresses me and assaults me while undressed.
"He already got a protection order for me and accused me of being violent towards him. After beating me up he rushes to the police and accuses me of violating his peace.
"He is using the order to abuse me. He ran away with our maid whom he is now staying with his new wife," she told the court.
In response Munemo said, "She threatens me as well but I do not oppose to the granting of the order. She is remarried and is living with the man".
