Former Radio 2 producer presenter Tembo to depart tonight from London

The body of former Radio Two presenter and producer late Lazaras Tembo who died in London will depart from that country to Zimbabwe tonight at 9pm according to his former wake mate Eric Knight.

"May I take this opportunity to inform all friends and accomplices to the late Broadcaster Lazarus Tembo that his body departs from London Heathrow Airport today at 9pm. It arrives at Harare International Airport tomorrow (Thursday at 2120hrs)," Knight said.

"From there on Nyaradzo Funeral Services takes over until burial. For those in Zimbabwe who wish to pay their last respects to one of the country's greatest Radio and Television personalities, please contact the aforementioned company for further details. May His Deepest Soul Rest In Peace. God bless Zimbabwe! God bless Africa!"

Tembo was popularly known as Lazee Tee during his time at Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation when he used to present the programme, Jarzan.
