Zanu-PF in vote-buying plot

Government will distribute maize, rice and other goodies to Epworth residents to aid the Zanu-PF campaign ahead of by-elections to replace the late MP Amos Midzi.

Addressing a rally to drum up support for the ruling party candidate, Ignatius Chombo said Zanu-PF will ensure victory by making people vote in groups of 10.

He also said that the ministry of Agriculture will be distributing food to the elderly and child-headed families on Tuesday.

He also added that GMB will open a shop to cut costs for residents, and he also assured that as Home Affairs minister, he has agreed to sit down with vendors to ensure they can sell their wares freely without having to be arrested.
