Mugabe to open Parliament tomorrow

All is set for the opening of the 3rd session of the 8th Parliament of Zimbabwe.

The Clerk of Parliament, Kennedy Chokuda, says everything is ready for the official opening that will be presided over by President Robert Mugabe tomorrow.

The President will lay out the legislation agenda for the next 12 months.

A number of roads leading to Parliament will be closed for the occasions and these are from Samora Machel to Kwame Nkurumah, Jason Moyo to Fourth street.

The Clerk of Parliament has also revealed that a big television screen will be erected at the Africa Unity Square for the public to follow proceedings.
