Uproar over Zim judges' opulent perks

At Independence judges were allocated one Peugeot 504 motor vehicle and later Mazda 626, which were assembled locally, but now judges upon appointment are entitled to three high end vehicles and a number of perks.
This comes after it has been learnt that the Judicial Service Commission is retaining fees for various court processes.
Another lawyer has said it is ironic that while donors have been funding the construction of court buildings, and donating basic materials such as books, while the JSC was using its funds on luxury vehicles.
