Maridadi engages councillors over resources

Harare Residents Trust has revealed that the MDC-T MP for Mabvuku, James Maridadi has engaged the Harare City Councillors over the issue of local authority's resources usage.
"MP James Maridadi: Residents have to engage with their councillors and Members of Parliament so that there is understanding on what needs to be done, by who and with what resources," said the trust.
"We all have a responsibility to work together and ensure that we have a vibrant service delivery system."
The trust said currently, the public transport system is nearly collapsed with most residents experiencing difficulties with kombis who charge exorbitant transport fares, yet the residents are unemployed and experienced soio-economic hardships.
"A Government is considered a failure when it has no backup for its citizens in the transport sector," said the trust.
"This is an area requiring urgent Government intervention."
