Warrant of arrest for Zesa boss

A Zesa senior official, Judith Tsamba, was yesterday issued with a warrant of arrest after failing to turn up at the Harare Magistrates' Court to give evidence in the ongoing trial of former Energy minister Elton Mangoma, who is facing charges of criminal abuse of office.
Tsamba was scheduled to appear as the State's third witness in the matter in which Mangoma is accused of awarding OK Zimbabwe, a Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company tender for selling electricity vouchers, without going to tender, but she failed to appear in court as she was believed to have gone to Botswana on Zesa business.
Prosecutor Michael Reza applied for Tsamba's arrest after the latter failed to turn up despite being warned by the court on Monday.
