MP demands Cuthbert Dube's arrest
25 Sep 2015 at 13:47hrs | Views
Bulawayo South MP Eddie Cross (MDC-T) yesterday demanded the arrest of current and former Premier Service Medical Aid Society (PSMAS) executives for milking the society dry and causing irreparable damage to the organisation.
Speaking in Parliament yesterday, Cross said he was happy that President Robert Mugabe said there will be a Bill introduced to regulate medical aid societies.
Recently five PSMAS bosses were drawing $22 million and other various benefits and yet, even the Parliament budget for a year is less than that - and why are they not in prison or not being prosecuted?.
Meanwhile, Bikita West MP Munyaradzi Kereke (Zanu-PF) disputed reports that banks had set aside $1 billion to fund farming activities.
