Chitungwiza seriously affected by bogus land developers

Harare Residents Trust has said Chitungwiza is one of the most affected areas by the bogus land developers who are parceling land to residents illegal.

"One of the mostly affected community when it comes to bogus land developers and briefcase housing cooperatives is Chitungwiza where former Councillors and Members of Parliament fleeced desperate home seekers millions of dollars, allocating them land that does not belong to them," said the trust.

"These people remain free. Yet there are thousands of residents who lost money to them. It is important for residents to name and expose these bogus housing cooperatives, and the people behind them."
