Government is reportedly planing to roll out a new housing scheme to protect house seekers from bogus housing cooperatives and land developers.
This was revealed by Harare Residents Trust through its Facebook post.
"Government is planning on rolling out a new housing scheme to protect house seekers from bogus housing cooperatives and land developers who fleeced people of millions of dollars."
"The programme will be rolled out firstly in Dzivarasekwa, Tafara and Prospect in the form of blocks of flats. This is a noble idea but the victims that lost their money want to be reimbursed and they want to see perpetrators of such crimes brought to book," the trust said.
