Mabvuku residents clear their drainage systems ahead of rainy season

Mabvuku residents in Harare are said to have started clearing blockages along the drainage systems in their localities in preparation for the coming rainy season so as to prevent flooding of their homes during the rain.

Harare Residents Trust revealed the developments.

"Mabvuku residents from Gwari Street have taken an initiative to clear their drainage systems to avoid flooding of their residential areas this coming rainy season," said the trust through its facebook post.

"As HRT we commend such activities being taken by some residents."
