Harare West MP Jessie Majome has posted on Facebook expressing shock on seeing a mealie meal branded with Zanu PF's blue print ZimAsset outside parliament in Harare.
"My eyes almost popped out at this sight outside parliament of Zimbabwe's members' entrance," Majome wrote.
"Bad omen of ZANU PF rule and party symbol emblazoned and politically branded scarce mealie meal in a food shortage crisis! 'Tongai' I undetstand means 'rule on'. Hunger looms for sure for those not in ZANU PF - its MPs get this from somewhere pretty much like the 5kg packs of rice donated to the State by the Chinese Gvt which the MPs were distributing early this year. What a country! What injustice!"
