Pastor dumps lover, hook with another church member

An Apostolic Faith Mission (AFM) pastor in Harare Kenneth Midzi dumped her lover Simbisai Nhara after lobola negotiations and wedding dates had been set.

Midzi is said to have hooked up with another woman from the same church saying Simbisai was an ordinary church member.

"I don't know what you are taking about. Yes I know the woman you are taking about but she is just a church member and you can as well tell me the whole story," said Midzi.

"That is so personal and I don't know why you want all those details about my life. I will marry when I want and how it that your business".

Midzi's wife died 18 months ago and Simbisai says she had been introduced even to the church leaders and she was tipped to be the new mai mfundisi.

"He had promised to marry me and preparations were already at an advanced stage as  I had already started trying on wedding gowns.

"A lobola negotiations date had been set for September 19 and was supposed to have our wedding before end of the year" she said.

"He realy broke my heart and to think that he left me for another woman in the same church".

She said she has since stopped going to church as its now talk of the church.
