It would appear First Lady Grace Mugabe's trend of launching the efforts to oust the vice presidents becomes effective in the month of October.

An analyst and journalist Elias Mambo has assessed the trend and analysed how the first lady starts the moves leading to the ouster of the VPs.

He said Last year in October Grace launched the attack on Joice Mujuru leading to her ouster as Vice President of the party and government, now she seemed to be launching attacks of Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa in the same month.

In his face book post Mambo said listening to Grace Mugabe speaking in Chimanimani on Thursday he felt he has been there before.

"Ironically it was around 10 October 2014 when she launched a spirited attack on former VP Joice Mujuru. Speaking in riddles and innuendoes, Grace sustained her attacks shaping the form of he December congress and finally the axing of Mujuru and other ZANU PF stalwarts," said the journalist.

"Ironically it is October and again speaking in riddles and innuendos, this week she has just launched another attack on Ngwena, Mugabe' s long time ally. Ngwena has, for long been touted as Mugabe's heir-apparent...he has been his chief election agent since the 1980s... He is accredited for keeping Mugabe in power by hook or crook means. Ngwena's loyalists claim his relation with Mugabe is beyond that of a blood brother. Will Mugabe allow his wife to destroy the bond of more than 52 years?"
