Cecil the Lion's killer will not be facing any charges

The American dentist who sparked public outrage after it was revealed he had killed Zimbabwe's Cecil the Lion on a hunting trip will not be charged as he 'had his papers in order', it has been reported.

According to Reuters the country's environment minister has confirmed Walter Palmer will not be facing charges over the shooting and a request for his extradition has been called off after it was found that he had obtained legal authority to conduct the hunt.
