The Zanu-PF politburo was scheduled to meet today but has now been postponed to Thursday so as to accommodate the First Lady's rally in Rushinga.
Grace Mugabe descends on Mashonaland Central Province today as she continues with her tour of provinces.

Well-placed sources said that valiant efforts by some aggrieved party bigwigs linked to VP Emmerson Mnangagwa to go ahead with the politburo meeting came to naught as President Robert Mugabe would have none of that.

The First Lady has been to Matabeleland North, Mashonaland West and Manicaland provinces, where she launched scathing attacks on Zanu-PF officials rekindling factionalism in the party and attempting to create new centres of power.
Instead of petty fights, she has emphasised, members should expend their energies on delivering on the mandate bestowed on them by the electorate in the 2013 harmonised elections as espoused by the party's manifesto.
Zanu-PF Mashonaland Central provincial chairman Dickson Mafios, yesterday said the province was ready to receive "wise messages" from the First Lady.
