Harare to relocate graves, relatives get 21 days

Harare City Council plans to relocate graves from Donnybrook Farm to Mabvuku Cemetery and affected relatives have been a given 21 days to respond.
It is not clear how many graves would be affected.
Failure to respond would result in the local authority to relocate the graves without relative being involves.
"Notice is hereby given to Mabvuku Community and the public in general that City of Harare intends to relocate graves from Donneybrook Farm to Mabvuku Cemetery.
"You are being given twenty one (21) working days to respond from the date of this notice by calling in person to The District Officer, Tafara District.
"Failure to respond shall mean the City of Harare (Tafara District Office) will facilitate the legal procedures that would enable the relocation of the graves to be relocated without the relatives involvement," reads part of the notice.
